Summary: This is an excellent place to stay when visiting New Orleans. It's a cozy spot in a generally quiet neighborhood (there are sometimes trains passing a couple blocks away at night), and it has everything you need for successful adventuring in the city. Bordering the French Quarter you're close to the action and all the great places on Frenchman's St. The entire Quarter is well within waking distance. Getting to other parts of the city is also very easy as the street cars on Rampart St or the riverfront are only a short walk away. Parking near the house is also very easy.
