Welcome to Retro Haven where retro styling meets modern convenience! This 2500+ sq. ft. home is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood yet is close enough to everything you would want or need. The Country Club of Sioux Falls, Great Plains Zoo, Butterfly House & Aquarium, VA Hospital, and the Midco Aquatic Center are just a few sites that are within minutes of this home as well as plenty of shopping and dining.
The large open dining/living room combination shares a picture window that provides wonderful natural light. A coffee bar with a Keurig coffee maker with black and green tea options, regular coffee as well as decaf, and cider and hot chocolate will satisfy everyone's tastes.
The living area has a 55 in TV, comfy sofa and loveseat and warm throws for those nights when you just want to get cozy. And it wouldn't be a complete retro space without a phonograph player and albums!
The kitchen with stone countertops is fully stocked with everything you could need from cooking pans to cake, muffin and bread pans as well as all the kitchen tools including a pizza cutter..... an absolute must. :) A crockpot and blender complete the myriad appliances available.
A retro chrome kitchen table with seating for four and a breakfast bar with additional seating for two completes the perfect kitchen setup.
Three bedrooms complete the main floor area. The first bedroom is furnished with a king bed with period chenille bedspread, 55 in TV, double closet and extra pillows and blanket. A nightstand with bedside lamp and clock makes it feel just like home.
The second bedroom has been created with the kids of the family in mind containing two twin beds with quilt bedding and the typical throw across the foot of the bed. Woodland baby wall hangings complete the setup.
Bedroom number three is a queen room with chenille bedding, nightstand and amenities and a double closet with extra bedding. Double south-facing windows let in beautiful filtered natural light.
The main floor bathroom with double sinks is perfect for allowing more than one person to get ready in the morning. A concierge basket and hair dryer and flat iron take care of all your styling needs.
The lower level is a complete space in itself! Two sofas and a 47 in TV make it a perfect area for the kids. The gas fireplace takes off the winter chill and adds to the comfortable ambiance.
The second king bedroom is in the lower level with chenille bedding, night stand and amenities, extra bedding and pillows and closet. A large egress south window allows in that filtered natural light.
The full bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower as well as all the amenities provided in the upstairs bath.
The kid/office room is definitely a special space for the little ones. A little reading nook with pillows and comfy throws allow a private space for the youngsters to get away and read the provided books. A small table and chairs and wall tic-tac-toe game make it the perfect space. Kid games, paper, markers, crayons, construction paper etc. are in the closet as well as games and cards for adults. A desk with desk lamp, office chair, pencils, pens and note paper complete the office area of this room.
The downstairs also contains a large, bright laundry room with all laundry supplies
A large half bath with an ironing board and iron finishes the downstairs area.
