Our traditional French Pyrenean farmhouse has sat in our tiny mountain hamlet for 300 years. The huge stone walls, the wood burning fireplace, central heating (and double glazing) ensure the house is cool in the glorious summers and warm in the winters.
Our neighbours are the forest, the wild animals and birds.
The loudest noises here are the bells of the native cattle, the bubbling river, the buzzards cry and the songbirds. In the late autumn and winter you will hear the rutting stags moaning for the does.
The house has been modernised of course and provides everything you would expect from a modern family house but the feel and the character of this unique property has been maintained.
4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (ensuite and shared) provide ample accommodation for 10 people.
Two double bedrooms (ensuite) a single bedroom on the first floor and a large third bedroom on the second floor provides a double bed and two singles. In the salon a comfortable purpose made double bed settee provides the overspill.
You will instantly feel welcome in the house that has provided shelter and succour for generations of families who have lived here.
