Nestled in the trees on a quiet cove exists a luxury retreat waiting for your memories to be made. From the moment you enter this home, the expansive views will take your breath away. Nearly every room provides a stunning vantage point along with the opportunity to become enveloped by the serene location - communing with nature while existing within luxury accommodations. This home is ready to welcome friend or extended family groups, multigenerational family trips or even small corporate retreats as it offers open living spaces made to entertain, ample gathering spaces and five generous bedrooms - each with their own bathroom. This vacation home, encompassing over an acre of space on the shores of a desirable Cape Cod lake, is the ideal destination for all who long to spend time together and reconnect with the serenity of nature or that within themselves.
Located directly on Mashpee-Wakeby Pond, made up of two connected bodies of water that cover 729 acres and are the largest and deepest freshwater body of water on Cape Cod. The shoreline of Mashpee Wakeby is 5.9 miles, surrounded by conservations areas, a town landing, and is a popular fishing area as it has been stocked with trout for over 60 years.
Upon entering, you encounter your first gathering space with an expansive view of the water. To the left, you transcend eight steps to enter the large family room featuring cathedral ceilings above and a pool table and wet bar within. Adjacent to this stunning space, you will find two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The first is a King sized bedroom (#1) toward the front of the house and another King sized bedroom (#2) toward the rear of the house, overlooking the water.
Returning to the entryway, you are greeted by the open floor plan including the kitchen, two large gathering spaces, the dining room, and the living area - all with direct access to the upper deck overlooking the pond. Venture down the hallway and you will find a Full sized bedroom (#3) with full bathroom. Near the end of the hallway is another King sized bedroom (#4) with en suite bathroom as well as a stunning view.
On the lower level of this home, you are offered a large recreation room with a TV, room to spread out and make yourself comfortable, and an extra king size bed to make the space even more versatile(#5), and a full size bathroom. This level of the home has its own patio as well as additional views of the water.
The outdoor entertainment spaces of this home present numerous opportunities for activity or the simple, quiet enjoyment of your surroundings. You have three decks, two patios, a large fire pit area and private stairs leading directly to the water from the back door.
Indoors and out, this home provides everything needed for a memorable Cape Cod vacation - all while being enveloped in luxury and overlooking the shore of a serene lake.
This home comes with many child friendly items that are available to guest: crib, high chair, infant tub, step stools, infant and toddler toys, and more. It also includes all that is needed for the beach or outdoor play: Beach chairs, coolers, beach umbrellas, volleyball set, cornhole, and outdoor children's toys.
With all NEVR properties, we think of the little things to make your vacation special. Our Guest Welcome Bag contains 2 rolls of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, 2 trash bags, a sponge, and a starter amount of bar soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and laundry detergent.
