Guest Access: The entire home is for your exclusive use. The Neighborhood: Our neighborhood is a vibrant area filled with music and culture, located just outside the French Quarter. There are blocks of interesting Creole homes once owned by Jazz legends such as Jelly Roll Morton and Sidney Bechet. It remains one of the most joyful, lively, and vivid neighborhoods in New Orleans, with an incredible underground live jazz scene, Brass Bands, and Second Line parades. With that said, you have to be the type of person or group that is comfortable in a transitional neighborhood. Renovations are happening all around this historically working class, black, creole, and Italian community because of its central proximity and vibrant culture. As with any New Orleans neighborhood, common sense is the rule as far as safety is concerned. For cycling enthusiasts, New Orleans is a bikeable city, and there are several rental and tour companies in close proximity (we recommend Bicycle Michael’s on Frenchmen Street). The Quarter and the Marigny are both within walking distance, and other hotspots such as The Bywater neighborhood and Magazine Street are a short cab ride away.
