The space -
Enter the main foyer, where you’ll find access to the garage, as well as the upper and lower levels of the home.
The upper level features a fully stocked kitchen with everything you’ll need during your stay. It includes essential cookware, a Keurig coffee maker with pods, and modern appliances such as a dishwasher, garbage disposal, full-size refrigerator, and stove. Just off the kitchen is a dining area with seating for six.
From the kitchen, step into the adjoining living room—a cozy space with a couch, two chairs, a coffee table, a 55 inch TV, board games, and books for your enjoyment. From here, you’ll have access to the backyard—arguably the highlight of 1875. The outdoor space features a grill, patio seating, and a table, along with stairs leading down to Birch Lake. Please note that the stairs are somewhat steep, so use caution when heading down. Once you arrive, you’ll be rewarded with beautiful lake views. There is a dock with a bench available for use, as well as a small sandy area perfect for relaxing or swimming.
This level also includes three bedrooms and a full bathroom. The first bedroom features a bunk bed (full on the bottom, twin on top), along with a nightstand, shelving, closet space, and a desk.The primary bedroom includes a queen-size bed and a spacious closet. The third bedroom offers two twin beds.
All bedrooms are stocked with extra linens and include a floor fan for added comfort.
Please note that the lower level is currently unfinished, as it is part of an ongoing project. However, it does include a laundry area with a washer and dryer. Guests are welcome to use these facilities, and detergent and dryer sheets are provided for your convenience.
