Deer Ridge Cabin CT has been carefully designed with our guests in mind. Providing an aesthetic look, comfort, and a wonderful experience for our guests is our main goal. The cabin can sleep 4 adults and 2 kids. It has two bedrooms on the main floor with a queen bed each, and the loft, which is located over the kitchen, has a queen mattress. The loft is suited for kids 7 years and older, as they must climb a steep ladder to get to it. Kids love the loft!!
The Loft is Not recommended for adults.
We have 3 split systems with Heat, Cool & Dehumidifier settings, and a wood-burning fireplace that can heat the whole cabin, perfect for enjoying those chilly nights. There is also a large deck with a gas grill, seating area, and a picnic table for dining al fresco. You will find books, table games, cornhole, and a wireless speaker, as well as our guide for our favorite restaurants and places to visit during your stay.
The cabin's kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped with everything you need for your visit.
Access to the private beach is a short 3-4 minute walk from the cabin and the boat launch. We have a double kayak and a paddleboard that we offer to our guests free of charge.
The location is ideal! There are so many places to visit and events throughout the year that are interesting and fun. During winter, Mohawk Mountain and Mt. Southington Ski Area are within 30 and 40 minutes away.
You can visit the Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden, which is just down the road, as well as March Farm, where you can get amazing fresh cider donuts, delicious pies, and fresh produce, or go apple and strawberry picking when in season. There are many other farms nearby, along with several wineries like Hawk Ridge Winery, only 11 minutes away!
The Antique Row in Woodbury is just a few minutes away. If you like hiking and enjoying nature, Nonnewaug Falls and other national parks are nearby.
