The house is located on a quiet street (prohibited for traffic except residents).
At the back of the house flows the Thur, a small river with clear, cool water, accessible by a small staircase protected by a gate. Across the river lie fields where storks sometimes congregate at dawn and deer come for the slab in the fall.
A stone's throw away: the football and basketball fields where the paragliders land will delight children and adults.
The walk around the lake of Kruth-Wildenstein from the house will take you 1.5 hours by bike and 2.5 hours on foot.
At Lake Kruth-Wildenstein: swimming, beaches, fishing, tree climbing course with zip line 300 meters long, rental of cycles and pedal boats.
Nearby: walks and hikes in the Ventron nature reserve, peat bogs and many traditional farm inns.
Kruth train station is a 30-minute walk from the house and takes you down the valley to Mulhouse via Thann and Cernay. A bus stop, a few minutes' walk away, can also allow you to get away from it all and join the route des crêtes.

In hot weather you will appreciate the freshness of the place thanks to the proximity of the river and good insulation of the roof spaces. In winter you will appreciate the central stove and electric heaters in each room. The veranda will warm you up on sunny days in the morning with the view of the Markstein from where the paragliders take off by the dozen. Small outbuildings will allow you to store your bicycles, skis, sleds and can even be used as enclosures for hunting dogs.
4G works very well.
