Summary: This is a lovely room in an excellent location for a fantastic price. We found a couple great places for breakfast in easy walking distance, and we appreciated easy access to T stations and other destinations. This is an historic structure, so what it lacks in modern amenities it makes up for in historic charm. Unfortunately, an older structure also means more maintenance, and the management seems to have been dropping the ball on some of this. I noticed a few areas with peeling paint or peeling wallpaper. And a major issue in the bathroom was covered up by plastic sheets stapled to the plaster. Additionally, their mismanagement or miscommunication was on stark highlight when a maintenance worker inadvertently barged in on us, apparently having been told that the unit was unoccupied. Very embarrassing all around.
