Awesome kitchen for cooking and entertaining though dozens of restaurants blocks away.
The location is amazing. On street parking right in front of house (1-2 cars) or request if additional space is needed. Great neighborhood, safe to walk. Walgreens is steps away where they sell all the last minute essentials plus beer, & liquor. Roberts Fresh Market grocery store is just over a block away and has groceries and many pre made foods, great bakery, beer cave and full liquor store. You can hear the music from Frenchmen St from the balcony, great music and entertainment right down the road. Bourbon Street and the French Quarter are an easy 7 block walk past many other bars, restaurants and shops.
Everything is an easy walk. If you don't feel like walking the new St.Claude street car line picks up less than a block from the house and you can easily get to the French Quarter, Garden District, Downtown, Warehouse district, Superdome, fairgrounds, zoo, casino, riverfront and so many more places for $3/day or less. Lyft and Uber rides are a great inexpensive option as well and typical wait time 2 minutes from the home.
The home is set up to be very livable, comfortable for groups of family or friends and non-pretentious. It is fully equipped and offers some fun little bonus amenities as well!
