We're open for business after labor day, 2021. We lived here full time through the pandemic and really enjoyed the house. Now it's your turn.
No matter the season, our house is more than just a place to stay. Nestled on almost six wooded acres, complete with a pool, giant hidden separate lawn perfect for lawn games, abundant gardens, and a wrap around porch, the house has everything you need for an idyllic vacation in an idyllic location. Located on the edge of the New York, Massachusetts border, in addition to being close to skiing, the house is conveniently located close to Tanglewood (live music venue), Jacobs Pillow (dance performances) and the historic towns of the Berkshires (Lee, Lenox, Stockbridge). Other activities in the area include hiking in the New York and Massachusetts State Parks, boating, antiquing, a live weekly auction, and theater. Even if you choose to stay close to home, you will have plenty of options for outdoor entertainment, from swimming in the heated pool, to playing badminton or croquet on the large lawn behind the enclosed swimming area, to biking along the rolling farmlands of the neighborhood. At night, lay out on the comfortable deck furniture beneath the endless stars far from the light pollution of the city. For winter adventures, in addition to Jiminy Peak Ski Resort the area includes other options for both downhill and cross country skiing. Ski fans can choose to rent the house for the entire ski season -- usually December 1 through March 30, or by the month, for an attractive, flat fee (plus expenses). Here, there is an activity for ever season and a season perfect for any activity.
The house can accommodate up to twelve people with four bedrooms, three baths, and lots of bonus rooms in the basement. Well appointed, well furnished, and well stocked, with a handmade dining table and chairs, fireplaces inside, a fire pit outside, and plenty of cooking supplies for the passionate chef, this house has everything you need to forget your worries and just have a great vacation.
