And breath is needed for all the hiking trails that crisscross the surrounding area: GR4, Serre de la Cour, etc. Here, the cicadas sing for you as soon as the sun arrives. You can even go down to the Ardèche river on foot, if you have the courage to go back up and beat the record: 20 minutes flat!
Even if you are quiet, nestled by forests of juniper, olive and oak trees, all the city's amenities are at your feet: Ruoms shopping center 6 km (10 minutes by car), the numerous markets of all the surrounding villages, and the nightlife of Vallon Pont-d'Arc 8 km away (12 minutes by car). Your only problem will be choosing between the private swimming pool overlooking the valley or the fresh waters of the Ardèche or Chassezac.
