Summary: I stayed at Travelers New Orleans between March 2-March 5, 2005 during Mardi Gras. It reminded of a hostel with a private room with a full bathroom. It has a common kitchen, a common area and code entry to the building and the room. It was in a decent location of the "Garden District" about a 20-minute walk from the tourist areas of Bourdon Street and the French Quarter. It was only a few block from the parade route, and close to a pickup for the street car. The only recommendation I have is to do a "turn down" every other day to take out the trash and get a new towel.
