Come and stay in The Shed @Stone Ridge for fishing, hunting and family fun! You will be minutes from the lake but with room to spread out and a private space to relax. Less than a mile from the lake and 5 minutes from a public access dock, The Shed is fully furnished and ready to host your family and friends. There is plenty of parking if you are pulling boats or trailers.
The Space
The Shed is a Morton building turned into a comfortable home. You will have a full kitchen, dining area, living room with cable and a Smart TV, games and puzzles. There are two bedrooms and a sleeping loft, as well as a sofa bed and futon in the living room, two full bathrooms, (one bathroom is tub only, no shower) and a laundry area for your use.
Guest Access
Guests will have access to the entire home. The shop will be open for you to use for fish cleaning or as a mudroom and storage for your things, but not for parking. We do store our personal belonging and tools in the shop and ask that you respect that.
We do live up the driveway, but we travel frequently and sometimes there may be renters at the house too. We have 11 acres though, so besides sharing a driveway, you may not even see anyone else.
We have farm cats to help keep the rodent population down. They have claimed the shop portion of the building as their favorite place. They’re kind of skittish around people so you might not even see them. But just be aware they are there especially if you’re bringing dogs.
There is a motion activated security camera outside the front door that records video and sound. We prefer it to stay on during your stay, it helps us monitor the whole driveway, but there is a switch for it inside the front door.
