The Hygge Suite is a 1 bed / 1 bath condo at Giants Ridge Ski & Golf Resort. Completely remodeled in 2020 in a warm Scandinavian style.

The word “hygge” is Danish and means to have “a calm and comfortable time with friends and family; an atmosphere of warmth, well-being and coziness, enjoying life’s simple pleasures.” This is exactly the atmosphere we wanted to create for our guests, and perfectly describes the mission of The Hygge Suite - the perfect place to get away from it all.
What to expect:
Inside you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing break away from the city. Linens and towels provided, pots and pans and dishes etc in the kitchen. Microwave, dishwasher, oven, coffee pot, kettle and washer dryer.
We provide a starter set of teas, coffee, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent and toiletries. Toilet paper, kitchen paper, olive oil, salt and pepper are provided.
We haven’t forgotten about the little ones either. We provide a pack n play, feeding set and high chair.
There are plenty of games to play under the welcome table, for adults and the little ones.
And for the true ‘Hygge’ feel, we have cozy blankets, a gas fire and a whirlpool tub to relax in.
Safety Features:
We have a dog/child gate on the deck stairs. Carbon monoxide and smoke detectors. A motion detection camera on the front porch. An anti tip device on the tall drawers in the bedroom.
Pets:
We’re dog parents too and do welcome one large (50lb max) or two small well behaved dogs to The Hygge Suite. We just ask that you respect the property as you would your own place. No dogs on the furniture at any time. They must be leashed outside at all times, and you have to clean up after them.
We are understanding that sometimes you may have to leave your dog unattended, we just ask that you cover the sofa with the provided dog blankets and leave the bedroom door closed. The HOA does have rules in place for noise, so if your dog makes too much noise there could be a fine and your dog may be taken to a kennel.
There is $100 pet fee this is to cover the extra cleaning required to keep the place spotless.
We provide dog blankets, dog bowl set and treats for your furry friends.
Please note that the pool and hot tub will be open from 10 AM to 6 PM until the end of the summer season.
