Our comfy Cozy Cottage sits on a beautiful acre property located in Paradise Valley, Arizona. The Cottage has two full baths, an open great room, and a large bedroom with a king size bed. The kitchen is stocked with amenities for cooking & serving. A full sized refrigerator, oven, electric stove top, dishwasher are at your disposal. Oh, and it has a disposal too!
The welcoming front patio overlooks the unheated pool and common area. The Cottage also has a private back patio.
The palatial estate is just two minutes from Old Town Scottsdale. Nestled in a cul-de-sac tucked into an established neighborhood the Cottage rests in a very quiet, secluded setting.
We have had the privilege to reside on the property for over seven years. Along with our two children, ages seven and four, my husband Dan and I live in the main house. We are happy to share our private getaway with you and look forward to hosting you in the future.
The Cottage is located just 15 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. We have a large auto court next to the cottage for convenient parking.
Kitchen: stocked with most amenities and utensils you will need.
BBQ: There is a natural gas BBQ and a sink near the outdoor fireplace in the pool area. Feel free to cook up something delicious.
Outdoor Fireplace: Near the pool is an outdoor gas fireplace to cozy up to on cold evenings. (Yes, we have those in Arizona.) We also have a wood burning fit pit just off the Cottage front patio.
Washer/Dryer: There is a full sized washer and dryer in the laundry room. We have a supply of dryer sheets and detergent pods.
Wildlife: You will probably see a lot of rabbits, quails, and other birds enjoying the neighborhood. Occasionally there are coyotes that trot down the streets. We suggest you don’t pet the coyotes; this isn’t a Bugs Bunny cartoon.
No Smoking: There is no smoking of any kind anywhere on the property.
Televisions: We do not have cable, just smart TV's attached to an antenna on the roof. A television is located in the bedroom and another in the great room. There are a variety of local channels from which to choose.
Entertainment sources: We have a Roku and a Blu-Ray DVD player connected to the great room television.
Coffee Maker: We have a coffee maker and coffee, along with sugar and half and half. We'll supply the coffee so feel free to brew some Joe (That’s another word for coffee, you Europeans.)
Pool: The pool is unheated, but for you Canadians its plenty warm. All we ask is that you keep it quiet after 10p. There are pool towels for your convenience. Absolutely no glass in the pool area.
WiFi: When you arrive you will be given the WiFi password
