A two-bedroom, two-bathroom treasure awaits you in what I, a New Yorker, consider the most fabulous city in the United States, New Orleans. A stay in the Antoine Bordeaux House, a three-story, Creole-style townhouse is like stepping back in history. A lot of time went into the home’s period renovation. It’s a very special place for me.

Original brick and stucco walls and cedar floors have been there since the 19th century. Each room has a vibrant color story, grounded by the antiquity of the furnishings.
Iron balconies are iconic to New Orleans, and yours is off the master bedroom. From here, or on your private roof deck, you can gaze over the old shingled caps of the French Quarter and listen to the distant music from the Mississippi’s old river barge.
