Completely renovated in 2022, this charming 475 SF cottage offers one bedroom, one bathroom, living room/kitchen combo, queen bed, large closet, ceiling fans, two window unit air conditioners, apartment sized fridge, new dishwasher, electric stove/oven, farm sink, Keurig, garbage disposal, and all the kitchen & bath essentials. The cottage is decorated with locally made wallpaper, local and original art, antique pottery, and Turkish rugs. Outside is a 400 SF Patio with ample outdoor seating and outdoor fans that opens up to the owner's backyard. During your stay the patio will be all yours to enjoy. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and very walkable. We have one super friendly big white dog on premises and we are always mindful of guests when letting her out into the yard. The apartment is a total of 3 nice sized rooms and a closet. A door separates the living room/kitchen from the bedroom. The cottage is equipped with an indoor TV, it’s own dedicated internet and an outdoor TV, all equipped with a fire stick and several streaming apps for your use. The exterior of the cottage is equipped with a secure gate with code access and lots of lighting.

About the Neighborhood: Widely considered the most centrally located and walkable neighborhood in New Orleans, historic Faubourg St. John (a subdisctrict of Mid-City) is ideal for guests who want to get out and explore the best of what this beautiful city has to offer. Located just 2 blocks from several excellent restaurants, a wine shop, several bars, coffee shops, and the Fairgrounds. The cottage is just two miles to the French Quarter down beautiful Esplanade Avenue. Rent one of the BCBS Blue Bikes for $2 at the end of Ponce De Leon Street and bike to the quarter! Our cottage is also a one block walk to the famous Liuzza's By the Track and just a few blocks to several other local watering holes. City Park, one of America's most beautiful public parks, is located within walking distance, just a half mile away. On your way to the park stop by the most popular cemetery in town - St. Louis Cemetery #3. There are also multiple bus stops and street car stops within walking distance of the cottage.
