The space
This unique, elegant chalet is nestled in three acres of beautifully wooded private property in a rural area of Maryland, ( and a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Lock Raven Reservoir Lake)yet only 4 miles North of the city of Towson. This luxury apartment occupies the entire first level of a beautiful country chalet nestled in the woods on a private road. The apartment has a separate entrance and is totally private and has its own driveway, walkway, private deck and spacious yard. The very large 27 foot bedroom has one very comfortable king size bed and one single futon bed, ( also 2 large couches in the living room for sleeping can be used for additional guests ) a large screen TV with full cable stations, a beautiful desk as well as a recliner chair. The cozy living room has a cathedral ceiling, two couches, an overstuffed chair, a second built in television and a working wood burning fireplace. Ideally this apartment accommodates 3 people for sleeping, but if the two couches are used for additional sleeping other than the large bedroom, then the apartment could accommodate 5. If you have extra guests beyond the 3 allowed, then there is a $20 per night charge per person for each extra guest . A large private deck adjoins the living room with zero gravity chairs for lounging and table for 4 for eating outdoors. Completely equipped eat in kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, 1 bathroom with shower ( no tub) . This one of a kind chalet rental is a very private, quiet space, with an upscale cabin in the woods atmosphere. Great views from the deck overlooking natural setting, pine trees, woods and wildlife, including a variety of birds and oftentimes grazing deer. No traffic, no noise, just peace and quiet for relaxing and enjoying the indoor and outdoor space !

Guests have access to free Wi FI. , Net Flix etc. Guests can also eat outdoors on the chalet deck in nice weather and also have use of the stone grill . Guests have two cable TV's in the chalet ( one TV in the living room and one wall television in the bedroom with premium channels for movies) and playing cards and game boards like Monopoly are always in the living room. Also, there are many amenities in this beautifully furnished apartment and multiple fun things to do surrounding the Lock Raven Reservoir, open for hiking, biking or boating etc. The beautiful Lock Raven Reservoir is much like a national park ( lake, walking trails, places to picnic, boat rental area etc.) and the reservoir is within walking distance from the chalet ! Lancaster PA is a one hour drive North, the Inner Harbor of Baltimore is 30 minutes South of the apartment location in Glen Arm MD. The Inner Harbor has a sea aquarium, harbor cruises, and many restaurants and shops. Philadelphia PA is an hour and a half drive, and Gettysburg PA about a 2 hour drive. Amish Country (Lancaster ,Pennsylvania) is only an hour and 15 minutes North of the chalet. Towson Maryland ( a college town) is a ten minute drive away from the chalet - a beautiful town with many restaurants, malls, grocery stores , movie theaters etc. Beautiful Annapolis Maryland ( Navy facility) and sailing community is only a 45 minute drive south and the BWI Airport is a 40 minute drive from the Chalet. You will have the best of both worlds since be staying in a rural area with peace and quiet, but you will have close access to all kinds of entertainment if you are looking for things to do , since you are only a few miles from the town of Towson and within an hour from major landmarks. Washington DC is only an hour train ride away ! Trains leave frequently for DC from Penn Station in Baltimore.
