BREATHTAKING VIEWS FROM EVERY ROOM! Perched above Malibu Pier and Surfrider Beach, this former celebrity-owned 5-acre 6-bedroom estate is delightfully private. Hiking trails start at the foot of our driveway and ramble down towards the beach and up across the Backbone trail! Outdoor living boasts a pool, jacuzzi, sun platform, fire-pit, BBQ, and large trampoline. Our newly remodeled home is also a entertainer's delight with gourmet kitchen, wet bar, Viking appliances, ultra HD TVs and SONOS throughout! This stunning architectural house has walls of glass to experience breathtaking ocean and mountain views. Perfect for a gathering of family, friends, or a meditation retreat, our home is adjacent to the renowned "Wright Ranch." It is also just a 15-minute drive to the beach and 25-minutes from Santa Monica, Calabasas, Woodland Hills or Westlake Village. When renting our home, you will have access to all three stories. TOP FLOOR boasts four bedrooms, three bathrooms and laundry: (i) master sleeps 2-4 with low-profile King-bed, pull-out couch, infinity shower, and private walk-in closet; (ii) guest A sleeps 2 with Queen bed; (iii) guest B sleeps 2-4 with Queen bed and Twin Trundle; (iv) guest C sleeps 2-4 with Queen loft and Twin Trundle. laundry. MIDDLE FLOOR features a living room with wet-bar, gourmet kitchen with indoor / outdoor dining, pool, sun deck and fire-pit. BOTTOM FLOOR features two additional bedrooms: (v) "mini-master" sleeps 2 with a queen bed and its own kitchenette and private bath; (vi) quad bedrom, sleeps 4-6 with a Queen-bunk bed and a pullout couch. The neighborhood is perfect for hiking, biking and motor cycle riding during the day, in fact, many love practicing their driving and cycling skills on our mountain roads! At night, there are plenty of hotspots within a 15 minute drive. DINING: At the bottom of our primary road is Saddle Peak Lodge, LA’s most iconic fine dining -- and critically acclaimed New American menu -- most notable for its emphasis on exotic wild game. At the tip of Malibu Pier is Malibu Farm, a magnet for A-list "Malibuites" who come in with their kids for farm-fresh food. NIGHT LIFE: Cafe Habana, a hip, festive Cuban & Mexican restaurant which features taco nights, karaoke, and a lively bar scene. Malibu Wines has a wonderful picnic spot and live bands playing in warm seasons. Though there are many more hot-spots we could mention, most people never want to leave the estate, simply because it is its own paradise. NOTE FOR THOSE TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN: When the large sliding doors opened off of the kitchen are opened, there is no barrier from entering the pool. Those with young children that do not swim, need to keep those doors shut or always be aware of exactly where your children may be. We do not keep the pool heated but if you would like it warm, there is a $125 + $75/day charge. That said, we always expect you to use the jacuzzi! If there are more than 8 guests staying on our property, we charge $100 for each additional person (with the exception of infants and day or single evening guests). WE ALSO TAKE GREAT CARE TO RESPECT THE PEACE AND TRANQUILITY OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND ITS RESIDENTS. PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY DOWN THE PRIVATE ROAD -- THERE ARE CHILDREN WHO LIVE HERE! IF YOU WISH TO DISCUSS AN EVENT OR ARE PLANNING ANY PARTY OR GATHERING, PLEASE ALERT US PRIOR TO BOOKING. THESE MAY BE CONSIDERED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS, BUT PERMISSION MUST BE GRANTED. THIS POLICY IS RIGIDLY ENFORCED. Please note that we monitor our driveway with security cameras to protect the property. We also have alarm systems which alert us when external doors are opened.
