Le Studio is part of Gites De Liberte one of 3 beautiful self-catering apartments located in the beautiful, quiet and historical south of France village of Azille. Azille is located in the heart of the Minervois wine and Cathare area within the Aude region, but also on the border of the Herault region. We benefit from the mediterranean weather and have a cafe/bar, bakers, butchers, soon to open general store, post office, indian take-away, beautifully positioned church, Andres Ferme restaurant set on a farm overlooking the mountains and vinyards with fresh food and a great atmosphere. Both the Canal Du Midi and Lac Du Jouarres are within a few kilometres of the village and we have 2 caveau's which sell the wine they produce in the village. You can enjoy the freedom of the area with no ties and relax in total comfort with the Black Mountains to the north, the Corbiere Mountains to the south and vineyards at every exit it is the perfect place to get away and relax. The mediterreanean beaches are only 40 minutes away. Carcassonne with it's Medieval castle is only 35 Minutes and there are lots of beautiful villages to visit. You can hire a bike locally to get around and see this lovely area.
