Blue North Chalet is a charming two bedroom, one bath cabin that sits on a hill overlooking picturesque Star Lake. Star lake is a 130 acre, crystal clear lake that is 80 feet deep and has no public access - free from crowds! The one acre lot is a peaceful and quiet retreat from busy city life and located just a few miles from downtown Crosslake. Take advantage of all the outdoor activities and get a chance to explore the lake with use of kayaks, paddleboard, Lily Pad swim raft, and paddle boat included. Swimming is a must with a walk-in sand entry and a deep drop-off right at the end of the dock. Lastly, round out your evening with a campfire and s’mores at one of the two fire pits!
The cabin itself has undergone extensive updates while retaining much of its original character. Modern amenities such as a dishwasher, washer/dryer, basic WiFi (pretty slow, the only option we have), and a gas grill will ensure you have a comfortable stay with all the conveniences of home.
The cabin is located on a hill overlooking Star Lake. The property totals 1 acre (all lawn with trees) and has a large dock on the lakeshore. Note that it is a bit of a hike down the hill to get to the lake, but there is a very large lawn and fire pit lakeside that are perfect for yard games.
Note: 2021 is our first year listing this property on VRBO, although we have 10 years of rental experience and rented this cabin via other sites in 2020 and got great feedback. Thanks!
