Just blocks away from Jazz Fest Fairgrounds, located on a beautiful tree lined street you cannot mistake the character of our home. Walkable in all directions to City Park, French Quarter, Marigny in heart of 7th ward Mid City. We recently did major renovations to improve our listing and let guests have the best possible experience. The renovated and now spacious bathroom is a real dream. Antique clawfoot tub, sink, light open high ceilings. Real show stopper as well as the renovated kitchen and dining area. Custom cabinets and updated bright colorful charm. Welcome to the Artist's Retreat! Stay in New Orleans in our sunny open high ceiling, victorian one bedroom! Darling and completely private with its own entrance and a comfy living room, new queen-sized mattress, central air & heat, high-speed wifi, and most importantly a beautiful front porch - perfect for breezy morning coffee, an afternoon curled up with a good book, or evening cocktails before you head out for New Orleans' nightlife. The Artist's Retreat has a full kitchen: coffee machine, microwave, cooktop and fridge, plus the kitchen equipment in case you are feeling adventurous to make that gumbo you've heard so much about. The space is perfect for two but understand you may have a friend visit if your stay is for the month. In that case you are welcome to use the sofa bed which is in the living room.
