Positive: The location is perfect. Just a block from Mirepoix’s cathedral and medieval square. Montsegur and Niaux Grotto are both about an hour away and are wonderful day trips. And even though it feels a world away Mirepoix is just a little over an hour from the Toulouse airport. The B&B itself is charming with a beautiful garden restaurant. We were there in July so a lovely breakfast was served in the garden. We also had dinner at the restaurant which was excellent and very atmospheric in the candlelit garden. We had a large suite which was lovely with a view of the cathedral, comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. The entire experience was very special.
