1 Bedroom Cottage in Lomita
Contemporary and comfortable, fully self contained warehouse loft in the South Bay. Loft is a stand alone (quiet) open plan loft with high ceilings and feeling of spaciousness. Our Loft has a comfortable queen size bed upstairs plus 'den' area with a single mattress idea for a child. The 'den' is separated from main area by a wall. Please hold onto the handle and we suggest walking backwards down the stairs for safety There is one full bathroom downstairs, plus a toilet upstairs in the loft. Unit is ideal for 1-3 persons or family with 1 child age 10 plus. This is a loft, so (as you will see in the pictures) the stairs are a little steeper than normal that go up to the bedroom and it is open plan.
Our minimum stay is 3 nights. However over Spring Break (April) and Thanks Giving we require a minimum of 4 nights stay and between Xmas and New Year holiday (Dec 21-Jan 3rd) a minimum of a 5 night stay.
Fresh towels, linens and a welcome basket await your arrival. A hair dryer is also provided.
There are games, movies and books available when you want to relax "at home." Cable TV, Wifi, radio/ipod/iphone docking station and off street parking available. BBQ facilities plus beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels provided.
A fully equipped kitchen with stove and oven, fridge, grill/convection/microwave oven, toaster and french press for coffee, plus washer/dryer in unit. Kitchen has bar table with 4 bar stools.
Enjoy our fabulous coastline and almost always fabulous weather. Redondo Beach is only 6 miles away. Choose from a heap of activities from surfing, swimming, beach volleyball, walking running, skating or biking. Our beach cities offer boutique shopping, art and music and a variety of restaurants to choose. Santa Monica, Malibu, Beverly Hills and Hollywood are a short drive away. So MUCH to choose from.
Long Beach is 20 minutes south where you can catch a boat to Catalina Island or go for a sunset gondola ride. For the kids - Disneyland, Universal Studios and museums close by.
Your well traveled hosts can provide information to activities in the area. Languages spoken include, English, Italian, Spanish and Afrikaans.

Guests have their own private entrance and courtyard with their own dedicated parking spot. Close access to the freeways, beaches, trails and all that LA has to offer..

For those guests who prefer complete privacy - and just want to check in and check out - we are able to offer them that privacy. Otherwise, I welcome our guests, provide a goodie basket for the weary travelers and show them our treasure box which has suggestions to all sorts of fun things to do in and around Los Angeles.

Lomita Pines is a hidden gem. An quiet, safe and eclectic little neighborhood that has access to great beaches, trails for hiking as well as the freeways which one needs to get around in LA

Unfortunately LA is not known for great public transportation. However, for those with time on their hands, the bus stop is within walking distance and we have the metro maps available for them.
