This beautiful new home [built in 2023] provides all the comforts of home and has water views and walking access to the shore across the street. This spacious single floor living home offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms with open kitchen and living space, large decks, and an added office workspace on the second floor with incredible water views on a deck of its own. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, cable TV, internet, a two door garage, and attached breezeway.
This gorgeous home has water views and walking access to the shore through the owners property directly across the road. Access allows for rocky beach combing for sea glass and launching of kayaks. Also, a bench to sit on and watch the sunrise or sunset.
The home is on a quiet 1/2 mile dead end road. You can feel the cool ocean breeze while sitting on the lower or upper decks. Views of the channel and White Head Island from the upper deck. The loft is a cozy sitting area and/or a perfect place for working from home with a view.
The house has a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, cable TV, and internet. There is a 2 door garage and 12 foot attached breezeway. Two downstairs bedrooms including a master with king bed and attached bathroom, and a second queen bedroom. Both bathrooms have stand up showers. Upstairs office/den provides a work space or a quiet place to read and an excellent spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine out on the balcony.
Spruce Head is a beautiful, small, coastal fishing village and staying here you'll be able to watch the boats come and go; may also note the chance of some early morning boat sounds, but nothing bothersome. There is a church and a Post Office less than a 1/2 mile and a famous lobster and seafood take-out, McLoons, a mile walk or 2 minute drive onto Spruce Head Island. Spruce Head Island is a fishing, lobster village with three lobster pounds.
Rockland is a 10 minute drive and Camden is a 20 minute drive. The owners, across the road from this property, have a few lobster traps out and it may be a chance to experience catching your own lobsters with them!
Although this house is not located directly on the water, the views vary on the season, but best views during the summer are off the 2nd floor balcony. Access to the water is just a minute walk across the street as guests are allowed access to the shore across the street, through a path in the owner's yard to enjoy the waterfront
Guests have full access to the entire home and yard with the exception of the walk out basement, which is for the owner's use only. Note: The daylight basement is for owners use only and may be accessed through private entry during your stay
