Summary: I booked this hotel as I wanted to explore the local region on bikes. On arrival I was told each guest was limited to 2 hours per stay. My husband and I were there for 4 days. Had I known this I would not have chosen this location. There is no pool and the gym is a small pod in the grounds with no air-conditioning.

Summary: The grounds and interiors of this hotel are superb, however the rest of the experience is lacklustre. It didn’t feel like a 5* experience, more like a 3*. with only one place in the large hotel grounds to get a drink or something to eat outside of breakfast that has no atmosphere in the day. There’s an outdoor area and seating in the restaurant that’s covered in leaves and not well maintained. A beautiful chateau and place to sit with no amenities to even get a coffee or glass of wine feels like a miss. This hotel needs some work to get to the level it appears to be online, particularly on their F&B programme.
They advertise as dog friendly but there’s not one single bin to dispose of waste on the grounds and it’s charged at €15 euros, per dog, per night. Which feels unreasonable. We were there for four nights and with rain the dogs left muddy paws on the sheets and yet these weren’t changed. Over €100 for the dogs to stay but there was no additional cleaning or facilities outside of a dog bowl and bed.

Summary: Two nights was not enough to enjoy this beautiful country resort. Excellent meals, long walks and a beautiful spa to relax in. The staff are so attentive and genuinely helpful. We will definitely return!

Summary: This is a stunning resort, Properrty. It’s not quite a hotel but rooms that are extremely high-quality with a restaurant and wine tasting and vineyard and other things on site there isn’t really a bar in the evening that we found that she went to the restaurant.
We had a free wine tasting at 6 o’clock, which I think they do every night, but I’m not sure as we only stayed for one night. We did buy some of the local wines that were produced on site.
We we bought our own picnic and it was a sunny day we ate in the gardens on one of the tables provided had our own food and their wine and they provided wine glasses for us. The only other choice for food that you can walk to is there on site Resturant otherwise it is a very remote Property.
As we had an early start, we opted not to have breakfast but I did pop in to see if I could just have some hot water and there was no one really around. However, the food looked okay.
This is a really special place that I felt gutted about leaving. I wished I could’ve stayed longer because it is in such a beautiful setting and to be fair the summer shining which always helps.

Summary: I would have given a higher rating but we had to leave the breakfast table after waiting nearly half a hour for out hot food and on check out there was no real apology for this. The place is very lovely but
staff were not overly friendly. Would probably from a senior person in charge.
