2 Bedroom Cottage in Port Republic
cBay Cottage was built around 1940 as a summer Chesapeake Bay get-away cottage. Folks would pack up the station wagon and head to the bay for a week or for the entire summer! Children would float on inner tubes, catch lively blue crabs, rock fish, 'tooth hunt' and play on the beach while mom and dad would relax and listen to their transistor-radio. Times have changed, but the beach is still the beach. This classic two bedroom beach cottage can comfortably accommodate 2 to 4 adults, with one double bed, and two twin beds. A fully equipped kitchen, central heating and air conditioning, paddle ceiling fans in each room, linens and towels are included - you just need to bring provisions! cBay has one full bathroom (with shower only and a great seasonal outdoor shower as well). With a gorgeous beachfront view of the Bay, a window seat and deck overlooking the beach, this is the best location for listening to the waves or watching the gulls and bald eagles play on the Chesapeake Bay. Watch the ships pass each other in the Bay and don't miss the wonderful sunrise each morning.
cBay Cottage is available by the week (7-nights) only, from Friday to Friday, year-round.
