Thanks to its diverse population the area is brimming with restaurants serving up cuisine from all over the world. Bethesda has a variety of grocery stores and hosts two weekly farmers' markets. There's also Bethesda’s Arts and Entertainment District, home to many art galleries as well as public art. If you're commuting in to work, it's easy to get to Washington DC from Bethesda on the Metro's Red Line.
