** THE SPACE **
It's a great place to grab a book, recline under the poolside gazebo, explore the island, kayak, and so much more.
The space
β approx 5000 sq ft of living space built in 2003.
β The house has been barely used. A doctor with his wife lived in it for years and therefore the home had little wear and tear.
β 2 1/2 acre lot with plenty of outdoor play area for the kids. The road is rarely traveled and if it is usually slowly

β Full dining room, kitchen, living room, outdoor deck, spacious bedrooms most of which have large closets
β two bedrooms and bath on the first floor and 4 bedrooms and 2 baths on the second floor.
β Fully handicapped accessible except for one thing--the front steps to the front door do not have a ramp. As long as you can get the wheelchair up the 5 steps in the front you have everything else that would be needed, handicapped accessible.

Plenty of parking in the driveway and you can drive to and from the property easily.

** OTHER THINGS TO NOTE **
β The home is remote. You may need to drive 30 min to Cambridge for any serious shopping.
β Children should not be left unattended. The pool and bay are easy to access and fall into.
β Pool is closed during the cooler season. That means closed approx Oct/Nov to Apr/May
β Security deposit, verified ID, and signed rental agreement required before accessing the property. We make it easy for you to do so and only take a minute, sometimes less.
β We realize that sleeping arrangements may not be the preference of everyone for the max guest count we provide. However, we do welcome it provided you are aware of and fine the sleeping arrangements and have a plan such as sleeping bags, air mattresses, couches, etc.
** NEIGHBORHOOD **
The neighborhood is very down-to-earth and slow-paced. The neighbors are friendly and love chatting. It is the opposite of a busy city hubbub.
My family enjoys the place because in many ways it is untouched by commercialized tourism. Some people come to the Island but it is far from a tourist hotspot.
It is raw down-to-earth life. Not always the flashiest but it's real and enjoyable. For example, some of the neighboring houses could use some updating and cleanup. For some people, it may bother but for our family, we do not care. We just enjoy the place. If you can look past it and enjoy the non-assuming real-life attitude of the area it is really fun.
